About Our Wines

Is this grape juice?

While all wine does start from the juice of grapes, it goes through the pivotal process of fermentation to turn into wine. Fermentation in winemaking is what turns grapes into alcohol. During fermentation, yeast is added to the grape juice which converts the natural sugar in the juice into ethanol and carbon dioxide. Surely wine travels through this same fermentation process and we source it from high quality premium California regions to start. The unique difference to get our final product is what happens next. To provide you a similar delicious wine feel without the alcohol, we also put our wine through a dealcoholization process. This gently separates the alcohol contents from the wine leaving behind vibrant aromatics. We then blend fresh ingredients with the goal of bringing back the body that alcohol provides. Voila! Non-alcoholic wine.

How do you make Surely non-alcoholic wine?

We start with grapes harvested from premium regions in California. We only use wines that can maintain their flavor and charm through de-alcoholization so the standard for these wines is incredibly high.

Our grapes then go through the fermentation process responsible for complex flavor and aroma. Without fermentation there is no wine. 

Using cutting-edge spinning cone column technology, we delicately remove the alcohol while maintaining the wine’s natural essence and aromatics.

With careful chemistry and an artistic approach, our wine team creates the final composition to round out the palette and elevate your glass. We use a selection of fresh ingredients, very low sugar and small amounts of sulfites to keep it fresh. After lab testing at multiple stops along the way, the result is a beautifully balanced, non-alcoholic wine.

How many calories are in each serving?

Surely wine has less calories and sugar content per serving compared to traditional alcoholic and lower quality nonalcoholic beverages. Our bottles are all under 100 calories per serving. You can find the nutritional information for each wine on their individual product page.

Are your wines gluten free and vegan?

Yes! All Surely Wines are vegan and gluten free.

Is there alcohol in your wine?

Our wines include a small amount of alcohol all falling under 0.5% ABV, the universally accepted limit for non-alcoholic beverages. We go through rigorous lab testing to ensure all batches render under that percentage. You could compare this amount of alcohol to what you find in fresh pressed juice or kombucha which is due to naturally occurring fermentation.

What does Surely taste like?

We use premium California wine and natural ingredients to create a unique drinking experience. Winemaking is a delicate balance of three main components: alcohol, sugar and acid. Without the alcohol, wine has less viscosity and becomes more fruit and acid forward. We add sugar from real fruit juice to maintain the natural acidity in the wines we source. Our wines are dry, complex and delivered with more finesse, but with the same level of sophistication as your favorite traditional wines, without the side effects of alcohol. A craft taste profile you can’t get anywhere else for drinker sand non-drinkers alike.

How should I store my Surely wines? What is the shelf life?

For best results before opening, store cans upright and bottles on their side in a cool dark place. When stored under the proper conditions, our wines have a shelf life of two years, however, we recommend consuming them within 12 months of purchase.

For opened bottles of wine, we recommend refrigerating after opening and enjoying them within 5 days of opening. Anything longer is not harmful but the wine will have lost its essence due to air exposure.

My Surely wines seem darker in color than typical wines with alcohol. Is that normal?

It is! Surely wines may seem darker as the dealcoholization process concentrates color, tannins and other phenolics.

Do your wines contain sulfites?

Yes, sulfites are naturally occurring and are added during the winemaking process. However, our wines do not contain any added sulfates.

Will I be intoxicated if I drink too much?

We know everyone's tolerance is different but our product is safe for consumption without fear of intoxication. It would be very difficult to become intoxicated even if you attempted to drink large quantities of our wine in a short period of time. We do not suggest this as you are more likely to become sick rather than drunk.

Why do I still get an alcohol flush when I consume Surely?

Part of the flush is from the acid, sulfites, aldehydes and tannins naturally occurring in wine, however we also strongly believe it’s a psychological effect. Even though the alcohol is removed your mind is “wanting” it to be like wine, giving the “heady” feel like you are consuming an alcoholic beverage.

Do your wines contain grapefruit juice?

Yes, the Sparkling Rosé, Brut and Sauvignon Blanc all contain grapefruit juice.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards or debit cards. We also accept Paypal, ShopPay, GooglePay, MetaPay and Venmo. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.

Unfortunately, discount codes are not able to be applied retroactively or to past orders. Discounts cannot be combined.

Thank you for giving Surely a try! If you don't love our wine, we'll happily issue you a refund. Please contact us within 30 days of the date of the order by emailing and our team will be happy to assist you with a refund, less shipping fees. We are unable to offer refunds for orders that are over 30 days old.

When will my order ship?

For products that are in-stock, your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Once your order is en route, it will be in transit for approximately 5-8 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification email with tracking info.

Please keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours for tracking information to populate once shipped. Please note, our distribution centers are closed on weekends and US Holidays

Do you offer expedited shipping options?

We do offer expedited shipping options based on inventory availability and shipping zip code. Any expedited shipping options will populate during checkout.

Do I need to sign for delivery?

Nope! Since our wines are Non-Alcoholic, they do not require a signature at the time of delivery.

Do you ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO and DPO addresses?

At this time we are not able to ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO or DPO addresses.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only ship within the United States. Within the United States, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Can I drink Surely while pregnant?

Although it’s unlikely that consuming non-alcoholic beverages would pose any harm, we always advise expectant mothers to consult a physician before making decisions about their diet. The Surgeon General does not require a pregnancy warning for beverages with less than 0.5% alcohol by volume, so many feel comfortable drinking non-alcoholic wines. Ultimately, the choice to drink our wines is up to the discretion of the individual and their unique journey.

How do I login and manage my subscription on your website?

Click here to log in to your account. Click “Sign up here" if you have not yet created your account login.

You can always go back to your account from any page on On desktop, look for the account icon in the upper right-hand corner. On mobile, go to the menu in the upper left-hand corner and look for “Account”.

Once logged in, look for the link that says “Manage Subscriptions” to access your subscription portal.

There you can manage your subscription. You can add new products to your subscription, swap products, skip your upcoming renewal, gift an order, pause your subscription, or cancel your subscription.

Can I change or cancel my recent renewal order?

Once your renewal has taken place, we cannot guarantee that any changes can be made or that the order is able to be canceled. Please send an email to and our support team will be able to assist you.

Is the Wine Club just a subscription?

The Wine Club is our new subscription program! It lets you save 15-20% on your wine case and unlocks exclusive perks you only get when you join the Wine Club. It’s not your usual subscription program, it’s a cool subscription program 😎

How many wines can I add to my Wine Club case?

4 or 6. You can create a case with 4 wines and get 15% off or you can create a case with 6 wines and get 20% off. 

Can I get can 4-packs in my Wine Club case?

Yes! You can add any wine, bottles or cans. 

Can I add more than 6 wines to my Wine Club subscription?

Yes you can! You can add more wines to future shipments from your subscription portal.

What happens if I lower my subscription to less than 4 wines from my subscription portal?

You lose access to members-only perks and discounts. You only have access to the exclusive perks when your subscription contains 4 wines or more.

Can I swap the wines in my Wine Club shipment?

Yes! Any time. In your subscription portal, simply click on “Swap”, click on the wine you want to swap, and then select the wine you want. It’s that easy.

How do I manage my subscription through text?

Make sure you’re opted into SMS in your subscription portal or text START to +191-797-98813 and then text MENU.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Absolutely. No hidden fees or “gotchas”, cancel whenever it doesn’t feel right.
